Boy Drowns In Dip
(N.Z. Press Association) INVERCARGILL, Jan. 23. An infant was drowned in the sheep dip on his parents’ farm at Kapuka South yesterday. He was Ross Allister Syme, aged two. Ross, an only child, had been with his father, Mr H. Syme, who was busy crutching. After the boy wandered away a search was made. The child was eventually found in the dip, which had been used only the previous day.
