Set the task of scoring 240 runs at the rate of two runs a minute against Fiji North Otago made a spirited attempt but at stumps on the final day yesterday had scored 174 runs for six wickets, and Fiji claimed a first innings win. Fiji declared at tea with 190 second innings runs for seven wickets, leaving North Otago 120 minutes to make 240 runs.
