R.B. Marsh Suspended
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. The leading apprentice, R. B. Marsh, was suspended tor three riding days after the Kaltoke Handicap at Trentham yesterday. An inquiry was held Into Interference in the last tew strides by Hostage (Marsh), which finished second, to Sasina (W. D. Skelton), which ran fifth. The committee suspended Marsh until 5 p.m. on February 3 and amended the minor placings to Te Awhitu second, Gay Ambrose third, Sasinaz fourth and Hostage fifth. Sasinaz was also checked soon after turning Into the straight, when she was unable to get clear behind Cosmetic and Lautrec.
