CHANGES IN SOCCER XI
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. Three internationals, N. Siebert (goal-keeper), D. Taylor (a promising young rightwing), and R. Mears insideforward) have been dropped from the Auckland soccer team to meet Dallas Tornadoes on Saturday night. Siebert has lost his place to a Ponsonby player, A. Stroud, and the Mount Wellington inside-forward, J. Houghton, has been named as right wing in place of Taylor by the selector (Mr J. Schwanner). The team is:— Stroud; full-backs. G. Latimour, G. Lake; half-backs, G. Lamont, T. McNab, P. Benell: forwards, Houghton, B. Turner. C. Shaw. M. Seed, J. Legg. Reserves: Siebert, J. Staines, C. Curley, Mears, Taylor, W. de Graafe.
