No Tour By Athletes
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. The Australian athletes, R. Clarke, G. Eddy and G. Lewis, will not now tour New Zealand this month, a spokesman for the Wellington centre of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association said yesterday. They were to have competed in Wellington on January 27, but Clarke has since informed the organisers that he is unavailable to tour. AS he was the main attraction it was decided to cancel the tour.
