Jarden (Wellington) played well to take the first and second life titles in New Zealand croquet championships women’s events which ended in Dunedin yesterday. Results: — Women's Championship First Life Final.—Mrs B. A. Jarden (Wellington) 26. Mrs H. Dempsey (Oamaru) 23. Second Life Final.—Mrs Jarden 26, Mrs L. Middlemiss (Pukekohe) 8. Runner-up: Mrs Dempsey 26. Mrs Middlemiss 11. Championship Doubles Final.—Mrs Middlemiss and L. Middlemiss 26. Mrs Jarden and K. Woollett (Wanganui) 17. Handicap Doubles Final. —S. W Peters and A. Rotting (Dunedin) 26, Mrs I. L. Turnbull and Mrs B. A. Todd (Dunedin) 11. Handicap Singles Final.—Mrs L. M. Hight (Morrinsville) 26, Mrs Turnbull 21.
