NOISE FROM HALL
Injunction May Be Sought (Prom Our Own Reporter) WESTPORT, Dec. 28. Residents in Russell Street, Westport, are considering seeking an injunction to prevent unnecessary noise from dances held in the Holland Hall. “We are nearly round the bend with the noise from these dances,” one of the residents said today. “Last night the teen-age dance went to 2 a.m., and the noise from the amplified music was so loud that it rattled crockery on the shelves in my house. My wife is just about up the wall." The resident said that representations had been made without success to the Town Clerk (Mr A. W. Crawley), the Westport Borough Council, the police, and the director of the community centre. The only course left was to seek an injunction.
