Plane Crash In Thailand

BANGKOK, Dec. 27 A Thai Airways DC3 air craft carrying 31 persons, in eluding at least 12 Americans Clashed and burned on land iug today at Chengmai, 50< miles north of Bangkok. Officials said three persons were killed, including one ol the Americans. The othei two victims were the pilot anc co-pilot, they said. Several other passengers were reported seriously in jured. A Thai Government spokes man said the plane touched down in a ploughed field short of the runway and broke in two. The nose section skid, ced down the runway and caught fire, and the rear section came to rest right side up, be said.
