Soil Moisture
The Winchmore irrigation research station reported yesterday that the soil moisture deficit on the non-irrigated area at the station was at wilting point at 204 points, which was exactly the same as at the same time last year. On the irrigated area, last irrigated last Monday, the deficit was 43 points, compared with 13 points a year ago. This area can next be irrigated on January 1.
