Success For Gymnasts
(NZ. Press Association) „ _ WELLINGTON. Canterbury gymnasts domln*ted the Wellington provincial modern gymnastic and rebound championships on Saturday. The championships, at Lower Hutt, were the first to be hold by a provincial association. Successful Canterbury com* rtors included A. Burnside, Gibson and J. Rnchanaw, who took the first three plac* ings in the girls’ tumbling, open section. Novice tumbling event winners from Canterbury were G. Nelson lover is> and B. Walker (under IS). In the men’s open rebound, D. Mortenson, of Canterbury, was second. The women’s rhythmical Individual event was won by H. Johnson and the other successful Canterbury entrant was Buchanan, who took the girls’ section of the same event.
