Cooling Project
(N.Z. Press Association) APIA (Western Samoa), Nov. 3 Samoa’s first Ice cream factory opened In Apia today. It can produce 150 gallons of ice cream a day and also reconstitutes milk, using a New Zea-land-supplied base. The 32,000-tala factory was built with New Zea-land-made equipment by a local company with shareholders in Western and American Samoa who hope to satisfy the ice cream and milk requirements for both Samoas.
