Infanticide Sentence (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Dec. 1. Roriroa Tui Judith Karena, a 31-year-old married woman, was sentenced by Mr Justice Perry in the Supreme Court at Auckland today to one years imprisonment on charges relating to toe death of her infant daughter. Karena had been found guilty on November 3 of infanticide and of endangering the child’s life by failing to supply her with medical attention. The child, aged 3, was found dead-on June 21.
