Indians All Out For 109
(N.Z. Preu a««n.— Coppricht; ADELAIDE.
The South Australian bowler, N. J. Hawke, who showed indifferent form ’on the tour of South Africa and subsequently lost his test place, bowled himself back into test calculations with seven for 46 against the touring Indian team yesterday. The Indians put up an inept batting display to be all out ' for 109. Only two batsmen, Engineer (37) and Wadekar (19) handled the bowling with any assurance. The South Australian opening batsmen, A. Woodcock and K- Cunningham, gave their team a first innings lead with an 'unbeaten 123 by stumps on the first day.
