Skin Price Also Rises
From Monday producers will receive andkber 0.4 c per lb for their lamb meat and an increased payment for lambskins. The further rise in the lamb meat price means that it has advanced 1.4 c per lb since devaluation.
Skin payments have increased by between 7c and 11c a bead.
Another $1 per 1001 b has been added to all export beef prices, except for overfat boner cow, ox and heifer, which is unchanged. The new prices for lamb meat are:
Prime: 20 to 281 b, 13.1 c per lb: 29 to 361 b, 12.7 c: 37 to 421 b, 11.5 c; 431 b and over, 10.3 c.
Fair, average quality: 20 to 28lb, 12.3 c; 29 to 361 b, 12.3 c; 371 b and over, 11.5 c. Alpha: 11c. Omega: 20 to 281 b, 11.5 c; 29 to 361 b, 11.5 c.
Skin payments range from 90c a head for a lamb with a Ijlb wool pull to 126 c for a lamb with a 2}lb pull. The new beef prices are: G.a.q. and f.a.q. ox beef; up to 6801 b, $17.50 per 1001 b; 681 to 7401 b, $l7; 741 to 8001 b, $16.50; 8011 b and over, $15.50. G.a.q. and f.a.q. heifer beef: up to 5601 b, $16.50; 5611 b and over, $l5. G.a.q. cow: up to 6001 b, $l6; 6011 b and over, $14.50. F.a.q. cow: all weights, $16.50. Boner ox and heifer: all weights, $16.50. Overfat boner cow. ox and heifer: all weights, $10.50. Boner cow: all weights, $16.50.
Boner bull: al', weights, $19.50.
