WOMAN OUT IN TIME
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Nov. 28. A woman leapt from her car seconds before a goods train smashed into it on a level crossing at Access Road, between Kumeu and Waiinauku, yesterday afternoon. Mrs H. M. Jenkins, of Kumeu, was not hurt, but her late model car was wrecked. Police said that they thought the car had stalled on the track. The train was delayed 15 minutes.
