New Australian Plastics Firm
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) SYDNEY, Nov. 28. Nylex Corporation, Ltd, is joining with Borg-Warner Corporation, of the United States, in a new company to make plastic in Australia. The new company—Marbon Chemical (Australia) Pty, Ltd —will be 45 per cent owned by Nylex (formerly Moulded Products) and 55 per cent by Borg-Warner. It will make Cycolac A.B.S. (acrylonitrile - butadiene - styren) plastic which, the directors say, is widely used in engineering applications where strength, light weight and rigidity are necessary.
