Tinwald Rose Show
An entry by Mrs K. Tonks, of an arrangement of summer flowers in a gilt picture-frame with gold-toned drapes was judged the outstanding exhibit in the Tinwaid Garden Club’s rose show. Mrs Tonks gained most points in the open decorative section, and Mrs L. Millar most points in the intermediate decorative, the roses, and cut flowers section.
