Supplement On Wool
Host of the offering at yesterday’s Christchurch wool sale failed to bring at auction a price that would be equivalent to the floor price to growers, which is based or an average of 25c per lb. Hinety-one and a half per cent of the offering or 21,953 bales will qualify for a supplementary payment, which will average about 5c per lb.
