Boiler Taken
A cast-iron boiler, weighing about 2cwt and valued at $2OO was taken from the Christchurch Hospital’s boiler room between November 3 and 6. Cash totalling $l2O was taken from a house in Holly Road which was entered between 12.30 p.m. and 1.30 p.m yesterday. The office of Canterbury Court Motels, Lincoln Road, was broken into on Monday night and $1.30 in cash taken. Two premises in Falsgrave Street, Pearsons, coke merchants, and Frazer and Mears, were broken into on Monday night but nothing is reported as missing.
Cars Collided.—The Rev. Bernard Antonie Bonders, of 15 Wiggins Street, suffered head and leg injuries when two cars collided at the corner of Stoke and Nayland Streets about 6.45 a.m. yesterday. Mr Honders was treated at Christchurch Hospital and discharged.
