Sir,—l question the siting of microwave patrols within the city limits. Notwithstanding the physics of speed-de-tection apparatus, which might preclude their use in certain streets, I wonder whether they are not frequently situated in places where it is easy to catch the motorist who exceeds 30 m.p.h.; Memorial Avenue and Hills Road come readily to mind as favourite sites, and
