Increased Witness
There had been a 2 per eent increase in the. number of house-to-house preachers for Jehovah’s Witnesses in the North Canterbury, West Coast, Nelson and Marlborough circuit the Church’s convention was told on Saturday night This meant there were now 610 active Jehovah’s Witnesses in the area. Twenty-six full-time missionaries were also engaged in the preaching work within the circuit and, although Jehovah’s Witnesses attended five congregation meetings a week, the average weekly attendance was between 80 and 93 per cent <
