Form Horses Only
Horses without worthwhile recent form are unlikely to secure much racing at the New Zealand Metropolitan Trotting Club’s cup meeting on November 7, 10, 14 and 18.
The president of the club (Mr R. W. Saunders) said last evening that the programme committee had held a preliminary
meeting to consider the fields for the meeting. “In view of the very heavy nominations they wish to make it clear that it will be extremely difficult to ensure that horses without recent form will be given a start at the meeting,’’ he said. Nominations for the majority of races are ali most double the number allowed and heavy eliminations are expected.
