HINEMOA’S DISPOSAL
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) HOBART, October 13. Arrangements were “to all intents” completed for the Tasmanian Government to buy the New Zealand ship Hinemoa for $Au5t437,500, said the State Hydro Electricity Commissioner (Mr A. W. Knight) today. To be renamed the George H. Evans, the ship should leave Wellington within a few days for Bell Bay, where she will deliver 10,000 kilowatts into the state’s grid. She will also be used to house the work force building the thermal power station at Bell Bay.
