Shirley Temple Black, movie darling of the 19305, filed her nomination papers for election to Congress and said she was not superstitious about filing on Friday the thirteenth.
Mrs Black, a conservative Republican, is after the Eleventh District seat vacated four months ago by the death of Mr J. A. Younger. A special election will be held on November 14.
