Cancelled Flight
Air New Zealand’s Electra flight from Christchurch to Melbourne yesterday morning was cancelled because of a strike of oil company workers in Australia.
Some passengers cancelled their bookings. Others are being seated on other flights and from other centres.
The Qantas Boeing 707 flight to Melbourne later in the day was fully booked. Qantas buys its fuel from a different company and has not been affected by the strike.
