Sir,—The remarks of “Hospital Orderly” on low wages are correct. It appears to me that if our union leaders, who are the same as for barmen, were to devote as much time and energy to getting better wages, travelling allowance and shift allowance for hospital orderUea as they do for
barmen, orderlies* wagee might then compare with those of barmen.—Yours, etc, TEN CENTS A DAY. October 13, 1967.
