Tbe police were called at 2 tin. ,to the woman’s house, I an old weatherboard dwellI lag surrounded by a neatly- | planted vegetable garden. . They found the woman, an ’ Italian, aged about 40, dead lin bed. A blood-stained sledgehammer was lying nearby. The name of the woman has not been released. Her children are aged from 18 months to nine years. Policewomen are caring for them. Homicide detectives are I questioning a man aged about 1 45.
