Overseas Sales Of Shares
Trading of overseas shares in New Zealand during September jumped 60,000, or 21.4 per cent, to 339,000 on the number of shares traded in August, according to the Reserve Bank.
These sales were made from 1100 deals compared with 1228 deals in August. September’s sales account for 15.4 per cent of the total 2.2 m shares traded since the limited market was introduced one year ago.
