Premises Burgled
Seven burglaries in Christchurch were reported yesterday. In two cases the intruders were disturbed. A radio valued at $3O was taken from a house in Beckford road on Monday night, $5 was taken from a house in Marine parade on Saturday night, and property valued at $7.20 was taken from a Blenheim road house about 6 a.m. yesterday. The intruder in the Blenheim road house was disturbed.
The premises of Vance, Vivian, Ltd, New Brighton, were broken into on Tuesday night. Nothing was taken, and the intruder was disturbed. Damage to a window is estimated at $BO. Nothing was stolen from the premises of Highstead Motors, Highstead road, the No. 2 court at the New Zealand Industries Fair, and a house in Pages road when they were broken Into.
