PLANS FOR INKY BOY
Future Racing In Auckland
Inky Boy will travel north on Sunday with five of the Auckland horses which have been competing at Addington Raceway in the last few weeks. Inky Boy will be trained by P. Wolfenden and prepared for racing at early spring meetings in the Auckland district.
Inky Boy, a five-year-old by Johnny Globe, from Scotch Girl, has been off the scene since last spring, when he won twice at Hutt Park. Inky Boy is now on a 2:15 mark.
Immortal, Prince Garry. Bosun, Single Cash and Mountain Pride are booked to travel north On Sunday.
Viking Water will compete at the Wellington meeting before returning to Auckland.
Immortal, Single Cash, Viking Water and Mountain Pride are expected to return to Christchurch late in October or early in November to compete at the New Zealand Cup meeting at Addington Raceway.
Amber King Sold Amber King has been sold by Mrs N. F. Ashton, of West Melton. to Mr O. Marr, of Sydney, who has also purchased Grand Jet, an unraced four-year-old gelding by Grand John from Jet Propelled Amber King, a colt by Deep Adlos from Ardmore, the dam also of Bertha Jo, won the Rangiora Raceway Stakes last December.
