Two Titles To Snook

(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. G. Snook (Auckland) added two more titles when he won the under-19 singles and doubles in the Wisemans junior tennis tournament at Auckland yesterday.

Boys’ Singles.—Final: G, Snook beat L. Sherwin, 6-2, 6-3.

Girls' Singles.—Final: A. Stevens beat E. Emery, 6-1, 6-1. Boys’ Doubles.—Final: B. Turner and Snook beat K. Wright and K. Barry, 10-8, 6-3.

Girls’ Doubles.—Final: A. Stevens and C. Bray beat Amer and G. Smith, 5-7, 6-1, 6-3.

Baskatballars.— ln the first match of Its Australian tour, the New Zealand junior men's basketball team beat the Tasmanian juniors at the Devonport Stadium.

Coatkeeper.— N. Seibert, the New Zealand under-23 goalkeeper, has been named In the Auckland soccer team to play Wellington at the Basin Reserve on September 9, replacing the New Zealand representative, A. Stroud.
