Tino Ariki Centre Of Interest Today

The appearance of the promising three-year-old, Tino Ariki, will add considerable colour to the Franklin Racing Club’s meeting at Pukekohe today.

Tino Ariki will be making his debut in open class in the J. J. Short Handicap.

His showing in the second leg of the T.A.B. double has been a talking point since acceptances were taken. His latest efforts in hack class have stamped him a young galloper out of the ordinary. Tino Ariki’s main rivals may be Forebrace, Blue Baron, and Travel Alone. Another chance is Alsarita.

Town Guard, a local gelding, looks an excellent prospect in the first leg of the TA.B. double, the Motion Handicap.

Court Rapid, Markable and Draco may provide Town Guard’s strongest opposition.
