UNIVERSITY VACANCIES THE UNIVERSITY OF WESTERN AUSTRALIA ASSISTANT UNIVERSITY ARCHITECT APPLICATIONS are invited for the above-mentioned new position (to be filled as soon as possible), for which the salary range is $A6625-7834 p.a., plus superannuation similar to F.S.S.U. Applicants should possess experience in design, documentation, supervision, office control and procedures, and the flexibility to deal with these aspects of a continuous programme ranging from major buildings to minor site works. He will be responsible to the University Architect for the general implementation of this programme at working level, involving attendance at committees, contact with building users, commissioned architects, consultants, the Staff Engineer (on electrical and mechanical matters), and the Officer of Works (on site development and minor works). The appointment combines professional responsibility with a considerable administrative content.
