‘TASK FORCE’ WANTED
Advertising Proposal (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, August 3. A leading advertising executive yesterday advocated an export “task force” of New Zealand’s best 10 or 12 marketing men, on loan from their firms. “Give them the funds to do the necessary research and fact-finding, as they do in their ordinary commercial life, and you would get an answer which would galvanise this economy out of its lethargy,” Mr G. T. Wiggs told the Wellington South Rotary Club. The various promotional programmes of the producer boards—butter, cheese, meat, fruit, and even tourism—should be coalesced into one.
