Headgear
A Christchurch carrying company has asked that members of its driving staff should not wear railway type caps. An executive of the company said that his firm had not imposed any general ban on caps or hats for its drivers. Some drivers were inclined to get a bit carried away with their headgear. He liked the firm’s driven to be neat and tidy. *T don’t like to see them in railway caps,” he said. He said that his firm tried to keep its driven wearing the straight type of cap or hat Otherwise, there was a tendency for some driven to start wearing all sorts of things on their heads.
