“Legislation Required”
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, June 29. Special legislation would be required for the Dairy Board to raise extra capital by a public loan, said the Prime Minister (Mr Holyoake) today.
“Members of the board called on me yesterday to discuss this matter. The Government approves of the board’s proposal in principle.
“The Government is ready at any time to discuss how it can help the board find extra finance for development,” said Mr Holyoake.
