Commodore Retiring
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, June 28.
The commodore of the New Zealand Shipping Company and the captain of the Rangitoto, Commodore Hamish Lawson, will retire in September. Commodore Lawson’s commands included the Devon, Hertford, Ruahine, Rangitiki, Remuera, Rangitoto, the cadet training ships Rakaia and Otaio, and the Leicester.
