Hong Kong
Sir, “Cheesemonger” sneers at my personal beliefs. I have always tried to discard neo-fascism and fascism. The former is at work today, mainly by the United States, in interfering in the domestic affairs of other nations, killing the population, and destroying their industry. The latter we have all struggled against. Its greatest burst to iniquity came when the Nazis attacked the Soviet Union, but its defeat under the leadership of Stalin made possible the Allied landings in France. I do not remember having supported “Saint K.” If I did it was a mistake, for he has tried to reinstate capitalism in the U.S.S.R. If it was not for “Saint Mao” and his struggle against the enemies of China, we would be under the Japanese at the present time. So sneer away, for Chairman Mao has summed up the position clearly in his pronouncement about imperialists: “Make trouble, fail; make trouble again, fail again . . . till their doom.”— Yours, etc., P.J.A.
