Protest
(N.Z. Press Association, WELLINGTON, June 1. Parliament was told by Miss M. B. Howard (Lab., Sydenham) tonight that a telephone—ripped from its connexion and wrapped in paper—had been left on her doorstep In protest against increased telephone charges. Miss Howard was speaking during the second reading debate on the Social Security Amendment Bill.
