Decision In Extra Time
(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—CopgrighO NUREMBERG. Bayern Munich (West Ger many) won the European Cup-Winners’ Cup when it beat Glasgow Rangers, 14, after extra time in their soccer final at Nuremberg on Wednesday. There was no score after 90 minutes and the stalemate had not been broken by halftime of extra lime. Then F. Roth ended the deadlock with a shot from 10 yards out.
Last year, Borussia Dortmund, another West German team, won the trophy.
The defeat of Rangers thwarted a great bid by Scottish clubs to win the two major European soccer trophies in the space of seven days. Last Thursday, Glasgow Celtic won the European Champions* Cup by beating Intemazionale Milan.
