Scots’ Narrow Victory
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) ADELAIDE. Scotland beat Australia, 2-1, in the second full international of its Australian tour, at Adelaide yesterday. Scotland won the first inter national, 1-0, in Sydney last Sunday. The match was played in cool weather, but rain fell as the players left the ground. Scotland scored first, in the twenty-fifth minute, through the full-back, J. Townsend, and Australia equalised against the run of play when R. Baartz scored. Scotland got the winning goal in the sixty-eighth minute when D. Fraser crossed beautifully and W. Morgan headed into the net.
