Protest At Cuts In “Ulysses”
(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) LONDON, June 1. British film producers will protest to the International Federation of Film Producers’ Associations about the way the controversial film of James Joyce’s novel “Ulysses” was treated at the recent Cannes festival. The festival organisers cut some of the film’s French subtitles, and the director, Joseph Strick, withdrew it from the festival.
