New Wool Stores
(N Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, May 31. The Minister of Agriculture (Mr Taiboys) said in Parliament today that the Wool Commission proposed to build up to five new wool stores to supplement storage for the next wool season. The stores would be at Invercargill, Wellington and perhaps Napier, Timaru and Wanganui. Mr Taiboys said a firm contract had been entered - for the construction of a store at Invercargill at a cost of £144,000. The likely cost of the remainder was not known because no decisions had been made to proceed with any or all of them.
