OVERSEAS
SYDNEY The market continued to lose ground on the Sydney Stock Exchange yesterday. The share price index fell 1.34 to 343.69. Mining stocks continued to ease with one of the biggest falls taking place in Western Mining Corporation which tell 70c to 1390 c. New Broken Hill also stood out with a fall of 30c to 580 c.
In the invesment section, the steel and engineering group was slightly weaker.

MELBOURNE Industrials continued to ease on the Melbourne Stock Exchange. The weaker tone in. minings was more pronounced, Western Mining dropped 75c to 1400. Other leaders were sharply lower.
