DECLARED DEAD
(N.Z. Press Association)
WELLINGTON, May 30.
The Wellington Coroner (Mr J. Meltzer) today declared dead a tramper who has not been seen since he walked into the Tararua ranges five months ago. The finding was made at an Inquest into the death of Alexander Edwin Jensen, aged 55, a State Advances branch solicitor, of Wellington. Mr Jensen’s failure to report to work on January 24 and the discovery of his locked car at the end of a deserted road began an intensive seven-day Search by 94 people in 50 square miles of rough bush country.
