DECIMAL NOTES
Release Of Designs (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. May 30. Designs of New Zealand’s new decimal notes would ba released to the public on June 8, the'‘Minister ofFlnance (Mr Muldoon) said today. The Minister said he had asked the Reserve Bank to release the designs earlier than was previously intended; “Contrary to reports and newspaper comments, the designs of the new decimal notes will not be withheld from the public until the date of the change on July 10," he said. Mr Muldoon added that coloured posters to familiarise the public with the designs had been printed in Britain, and would be made available for display on June 8.
