12 Pups For Irish Setter
Polyana Kelrush, a one-year-old pedigree Irish Setter, gave birth on Friday to 12 pups and all survived. The veterinary surgeon who supervised the delivery, said two more pups may be bom and if the dog did not give birth to them this morning they would be delivered by a caesarian operation. The setter, owner by Mr R. Vandenburg, of 91 Kaiwara street, Hoon Hay, gave birth t seven of the pups at 4 a.m. yesterday. In the afternoon, she gave birth to the other five.
Polyana Kelrush was mated with an Australian champion, Tara Trade Wind.
