(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, May 26. When the Auckland tug, Mohal, and the barge Pohonui, which the Mohala is towing, arrive back in Auckland in a few days’ time they will be the first such vessels to circumnavigate New Zealand. Today they went further south than any other tug and barge in tow as they passed through the Foveaux Strait. They left Auckland last week with a 160-ton load of equipment for the Manapouri power scheme. They rounded North Cape and took the load to Manapouri. The Mohala radioed Auckland today that it was off Bluff, making its way to Timaru where it will pick up another load.
