Barber, at the end of the third round of the 66.000-dollar Oklahoma City Open golf tournament on Saturday. Taking advantage of the calm weather, the three beat par arid emerged as trl-leaders with six-under-par 210 totals for the 54 holes. G. Archer was next with 211. Two strokes further back were K. Zarley, W. Casper, and R. Baxter. R. J. Charles (New Zealand) turned in his finest round of the tournament with a two-under-par 70. He began badly, one over on No. 1, and two over on the second, a 219-yard par three hole but he came back to birdie Nos. 3, 8 and 9, to make the turn at par.
