A Canterbury men’s basketball team beat a depleted and erratic West Coast side, 27 16. at Christchurch on Saturday afternoon. West Coast also had players at the opening of the new stadium in Hokitika. West Coast played better basketball on Saturday evening when it was beaten, 51-38. by Mid-Canterbury, at Ashburton.
